General Gaming / Re: Prince of persia: Sands of time remake

Im pretty sure they just took the source code, updated the graphics.... SLIGHTLY and put the remake sticker on it.

It all feels very lazy if you ask me... why not make a new Prince Of Persia game all together. I think Forgotten Sands was the last one, and it was more a spin-off than an actual sequel if i recall correctly... i don't think i have even played it to the end.

I am holding out hope, and mostly holding out for the PSVR version so i can feel like I'm piloting the X-Wings... i hope they include the Naboo Fighter! nothing says STEALTH like a fighter that is solid yellow with chrome accents!!!

I was really hoping for PS3 compatibility... but i guess this gives Sony the excuse to either:

A) Re-release HD/remakes of games and earn some extra bank.

B) Release a version of the PS5 that does have PS1/2/3 compatibility a super-dooper limited edition unit that people will go nuts for.

I think this will be an interesting trip. I just hope its better than the Agents of Shield... i barely got through the 1st 2 season of "Agents" before calling it quits... there were some interesting episodes, but just not enough to keep me interested.

Hopefully its closer to the "pop" that the Marvel-Netflix shows had... well, the good ones anyway, like Luke Cage (Yes i liked it, as it had more going on and kept me interested), Punisher (It was Punisher... 'nuff said.), and Daredevil (I dont care what you say, it was good from start to finish.)

Sadly Jessica Jones and Iron Fist started strong but flopped in later episodes/seasons.

I bought DMC5 a while back from that Shop4 website and haven't really tried it... i don't even recall if installed the game... jeeze.. i am bad at this. I barely know anything about the DMC franchise aside from what you guys tell me and some YouTube videos that make fun of it.

Why do i get the feeling they wont really change anything except improve the graphics slightly but keep controls the same just to get these games out to market?

They make ok games, it's funny that they are known as the company that makes billion dollar games that are often broken and glitchy... but hopefully M$ is able to turn thing around by putting someone at least half-competent in the Q.A. and testing departments.

Handheld / Playstation Portable.

This thread felt a little empty, so i thought i would bring some life to it.

Although i dont emulate them, or even jailbreak them, i will post something here anyway.

I own 3 PSP's right now, and about 20 games for them. The PSP originally released in Japan on December 12th 2004 and boasted some superb features, such as access to internet and the PSN store that included titles from the PS1 era of games.

I feel this was an underrated handheld, marred by the UMD disc drive and the semi-proprietary memory card, and also going up against the Nintendo DS (which was released on November 21st 2004 in North America), probably didn't help sales.

Compared to the Nintendo DS it has a lot more going for it, however Nintendo had a much larger fan base at the time and was also know for having excellent handheld hardware compared to other companies despite using lower-end hardware.

To this day i still play on my PSP, granted many of the online features are now more-or-less defunct, it is still a good system and is capable of giving users hours of fun!

But... but... but... It's on that website!.... it has to be true!... right??

I know, but this seems very plausible at this point, also i still have my 3-pack for XBOX 360... so im in no rush to get an updated version.

Do you like the Spiderman PS4 game?

Do you want more games like it???

Also there is a chance that the 2-pack will have all the DLC and stuff, so I am 100% ok with it!

EPIC Gamestore has 3 games up for grabs this week:

- Stick It To The Man.
- Watchdogs 2 (Standard Edition)

- FOOTBALL MANAGER 2020!!!! Hells yeah! screw all ya'll who play the sports games that have characters running around the field, the accounting and managerial side of things is 100 times better!!!

Lol, but in all honesty; Stick It To The Man is a great game, i have the PS4 version.... and Watchdogs 2... it's Watchdogs 2... what more is there to say? It's OK but most importantly: it's FREE!

Who here remembers Mirror's Edge? I vaguely do, i recall all the parkour you can do in and around the city, apparently 505 Games is making their own game based on the acrobatic pastime called GHOSTRUNNER, one noticeable difference im getting is that you get to combat more often. Anyway check it out, i personally like the Cyber-Punk aesthetic.
