Doom Eternal
« on: August 16, 2018, 03:59:09 AM »
A few months ago Doom Eternal was revealed to the gaming world at e3 with promise of more to come at QuakeCon! that time has COME!!!!  The doom Slayer is Back with New Armor, New weapons, Arm blade, the supershot gun is back with a meathook  attachment, fan favorite demons are back in black baby! and some new deadly melee finisher moves the ones in the game play video below are brutal and gory as hell.

There is currently no release date everything is speculation its also coming to all the usual consoles, PC and the Switch

If you haven't played Doom 2016 I HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommend it, has a very solid Single Player campaign that can be played through over and over

https://www.pcgamer.com/au/doom-eternal-has-been-delayed-until-2020/

Dang it I was looking forward to this game its been Delayed to March 20 2020, next march is looking all the more crowded by the minute, they are also porting Doom 64 to pc while they are at it previously it was only for the Switch but a sorry for delaying it but we gotta for reasons lol I guess they don't want to compete with COD, battlefield, Death Stranding, Luigi's mansion 3, RDR2 on pc etc

Not that March next year is any better Cyberpunk 2077 and FFVII release that month aswell my poor wallet :D

Wait they're bringing Luigi's Mansion 2 (Dark Moon) to the Switch? if so that is neat!

The only titles im looking at with interest on that list are Red Dead Redemption GOTY edition, and Cyberpunk 2077.

Lol, yes, lets do that, it would be super trolly. Naw, I'm happy with my 3DS copy of Luigi's Mansion 1 & 2, i also got it a year earlier on the Game Cube for about $30... somehow... it was used, but complete and near mint.

Deluxe edition? I just bought the regular edition on steam for 119nzd,  its $164.00 nzd for deluxe on steam!!!! as good as Doom is I couldn't justify that for a digital copy I may pick up the season pass somewhere down the line but not at those price gouging prices I won't

Can I have a Doom 64 code then? :D

SEE! you dont nee me anymore! you have your own sources! lol! i played a little Doom 64 when it finished downloading and im not sure but it doesnt look like the Doom i played back in '93... unless it supposed to be a remake of the 2nd one which i never played... i think. BUT i did get free copies of Doom 1, 2 and 3 with my DOOM '16: SLAYER EDITION... which i returned because the extra games were DLC only... i already had Doom'16 from a waaays back... so buying it again was a bit of a let down.

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-05-04-id-confirms-its-parted-ways-with-doom-eternal-composer-after-soundtrack-controversy

Mick Gordon and id have parted ways and WE THE CULT OF MICK GORDON DO NOT APPROVE!!  this all started when gamers with super hearing noticed the music was not up to par mick tweeted that he had only worked on some of the tracks and the rest were from id's inhouse sound engineer and he would not have done that and stated he would not be working with Id on the upcoming DLC which sparked a response by the head of id on reddit where he explained they had given Mick a time frame to get the soundtrack done as it got nearer mick felt he wouldn't make it in time so asked for a extension and suggested if he doesn't make it this time use what he has already made and tweak the tracks they ended up doing this Mick said he would make it up and have the tracks ready and they could insert them into the game later on id wasn't happy with this some words were said and now both parted ways.  I hope they can work it out DOOM won't sound the same without him
