All aboard the nostalgia train! PS1 Classic!
« on: September 19, 2018, 11:49:59 AM »
I was browsing some random video game website and came across an article for the Mini PS1 classic. So make room for this bad-boy the list of games hasnt been fully revealed but so far Final fantasy 7, tekken 3 and Wild Arms have been confirmed. Now im just waiting for the Mini GameBoy Classic that's 50% smaller than the original with HDMI connector and a 2 foot EXT cable to link other Mini Gameboys!

They may be following but they do a decent job at it... also i realize that this is going to be about the same price as the SNES Mini.

I will give them this Sony will most likely keep up with supply and demand unlike how poorly nintendo did with the mini nes but they did learn their lesson with the mini snes I still see the mini snes for sale in popular retailers over here which is good to see the scalpers had a field day

I really shook my head when people were paying $600nzd + for the mini nes on trademe (nz's version of ebay) around christmas

Yea. scalpers really suck. I got my Nes and Snes at a store at normal price. The 2nd NES controller was a pain to find though.

I would have liked to get Armor Core, jeez, I may have to return/sell the one I preordered... it's one thing to have no AC adapter, but to have 'meh' games.. I'm surprised they didn't have the AC adapter for sale yet.

A few other games on to of Armour Core would be:
-Spyro trilogy... but apparently we're getting a "physical" copy (2 & 3 are DLC)
-X-Men Mutant Academy (I liked those games)
-Gundam Battle Assault (or as the announcer  calls it "Batta Assaut") all I recall is Heero Yue in it and piloting all the other mechs from alternate animes.
-Dino Crisis.

In all honesty I don't recall many PS1 games as I never had one, but my friend did and had about a dozen bootleg games. And eventually phased it out with a moded PS2 and let's just say I got some PS1 and PS2 games mixed up. They could have chose better games but they could have chosen worse too...
Sincerely,

Sir Logan Johnson, Esq. XIII.
